Great Grandma Walters, LLC is a registered LLC in the State of Florida. We are currently a small family-owned business operating as an online business with hopes of opening physical stores. That will all be determined by YOU, our wonderful customers!
Our recipes bring back the nostalgia of baking from Great Grandma Walters. Great Grandma raised 16 children during the great depression and always used fresh ingredients and never cut corners.
When I was a kid, my mother and father would take me to visit my great grandfather and great grandmother Walters and she always had something freshly baked. Apple Pies, Cherry Pies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Peanut Butter Cookies, Red Velvet Cake, German Chocolate Cake.
She never followed a written down recipe. She had the recipes all in her head. Fortunately for us, her daughters were wise enough to watch and write her recipes down. Then they handed the recipes down to their nieces. One of those nieces was my mom.
My mother passed some of those recipes on to me. My favorite is my Great Grandma Walters Pumpkin Bread recipe. I call it my Great Grandma Walters World Famous Pumpkin Bread, but as not to mislead anyone, it’s not really known around the world (yet). Pumpkin bread, however, is!
